In the private mental hospital of Prof. Larussa everyone is going crazy, not only the patients but also the staff. Until a beautiful nurse, Grazia, completely confuses the entire clinic. But Grazia actually has a secret mission: she is supposed to find two valuable paintings hidden in the clinic. Inevitably, the patients and staff fall in love with the pretty Grazia and follow her every step of the way. Grazia, in turn, falls in love with the head doctor and the paintings are given to her by the love-struck painter Desantio as proof of his adoration to boot. After frantically fleeing from her employer, Grazia rushes towards a happy ending with Dr. Santarelli. What remains is the chaotic clinic with its even more chaotic doctors, truly an "idiot's kennel".
