Janelle (Asa Akira) flees from her abusive husband Darren the night before. She moves a thousand miles away and tries to start a new life. Nice Ben is immediately in love with the mysterious new barista at his local café... After many weeks of trying, Ben convinces Janelle to go out with him and they start a happy relationship. Finally, everything in Janelle's life seems fine... until Darren discovers where she's been hiding and shows up at her apartment. Luckily, Ben shows up just in time, too.
