Between 1897 and 1917 prostitution flourished in the scandalous red-light district of New Orleans, known as Storyville. Less well known was an area just outside the borough known as Stor-E-Ville... The most aberrant house in Stor-E-Ville was a glamorous building of ill repute, aptly named the Rubber Brothel. The Rubber Brothel was home to the world's most advanced dirt suppliers and was frequented by the nation's most powerful men, wealthy deviants, and the most notorious black-hearted villains. It was a house where people went to experience sexuality considered illegitimate by society... only to fall victim to the strict and relentless control of the lady.
